You need:

Designed to complement an Accessibility Audit, three representative users with disability or age-related impairment undertake core tasks to identify practical accessibility issues not covered by WCAG 2.0.
Mobile App Evaluation
You need:
- To determine the compliance level of your native iOS or Android app against relevant WCAG 2.0 Success Criteria and other standards
- To learn best practice accessibility standards for app design
We will:
- Conduct a technical accessibility assessment of the app to Level AA of WCAG 2.0
- Determine if the app meets global mobile best practice standards
- Complete an evaluation of the app using the Accessibility Inspector on the iOS simulator, CCA for Mac for iOS apps; or using the Android SDK emulator in the Eclipse IDE for Android apps
- Establish if all content and functions of the app are correctly associated with the Accessibility API
- User evaluation with VoiceOver, Siri and Zoom on iOS, or TalkBack, Explore by Touch and Magnification on an Android device
- Provide a written report and analysis of each issue identified with recommendations on how to resolve them, supported with an onsite consultancy arrangement
User Testing
You need:
- To ensure people with a variety of disabilities do not encounter barriers when using your online resource
- To assess the practical accessibility of your online service – issues which may not have been exposed through technical assessments (such as an audit to WCAG 2.0)
- To protect against potential discrimination claims
- To demonstrate your commitment to the Australian Government's Digital Service Standard and/or compliance with W3C and Australian Human Rights Commission recommendations
We will:
- Highlight the strengths and weaknesses of the online resource in terms of practical accessibility
- Gain usability insights from users with various disabilities, such as visual, hearing, mobile or cognitive impairment, who use a range of interaction devices
- Record quantitative data such as task success rates, and qualitative data such as the nature of mistakes made by users as they perform tasks, and incorrect inferences made
- Establish measures of user satisfaction
- Provide clear practical and technical recommendations for making the website more usable for people with a range of disabilities
Statement of Accessibility
You need:
- A formal acknowledgement that you have met WCAG 2.0 to Level A, AA or AAA, usually following an Accessibility Audit or other assessment
- Confirmation that accessibility issues identified on your site have been resolved
- Documentation to support that your organisation is on track towards meeting obligations in line with the Disability Discrimination Act and/or Australian Government's Digital Service Standard
We will:
- Conduct a post-rectification review whereby two further checks of pages from the online resource are undertaken to confirm that the issues raised have been addressed successfully
- Identify any failures or new issues and provide recommendations for resolution
- Provide a Statement of Accessibility
Benchmark Audit
You need:
- To determine the compliance level of your online resource against WCAG 2.0 to Level A, AA or AAA
- To establish if your organisation is on track towards meeting its obligations in line with the Disability Discrimination Act and Australian Government's Digital Service Standard
We will:
- Identify a representative sample of pages from which to benchmark the accessibility of the online resource
- Determine if the pages meet the accessibility requirements of each WCAG 2.0 Success Criterion according to a graded system – pass, fail or not applicable
- Analyse the results and highlight those issues that cause the greatest barriers to users with a disability
Conformance Audit
You need:
- To determine the compliance level of your online resource against WCAG 2.0 to Level A, AA or AAA
- To identify compatibility issues between the online resource and user agents
- To find out how any accessibility issues can be resolved
We will:
- Provide a full site audit against WCAG 2.0 to capture accessibility issues to Level A, AA and AAA standards
